President/Chief Executive Officer Ben Bledsoe has a foundation in service, as exemplified by his time in the Peace Corps in Tonga, as an entry-level caregiver for Consumer Direct Care Network, and as President/CEO since 2012. Bolstering his commitment to service, his education includes a bachelor’s degree from University of Virginia and a master’s degree in health administration from Kennedy Western University.
Ben gained experience with Consumer Direct Care Network managing operations, quality improvement, and HR teams, and serving as a member of the Administration for Community Living’s RAISE Family Caregiving Advisory Council. Ben’s compassion for people, interest in business efficiencies, commitment to ensuring all people have choice and control over the lives they lead, and broad range of experience helps Consumer Direct Care Network thrive as today’s self-direction services leader.
Ben has lived in Missoula, Montana, since 2004. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, as well as traveling, creating music, and learning anything new.
Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Beth Peterson’s considerable understanding of self-directed, person-centered care is matched by her dedication to providing that care and enabling others to do so as well. Beginning with a high school job in a nursing home and continuing throughout her career, Beth’s focus on improving care for individuals with developmental disabilities includes a wealth of experience administering financial management and supports broker services, incorporating management of service delivery, billing, accounts payable, and payroll.
She first joined Consumer Direct Care Network in 2010 as a program manager and became COO in 2013. As COO, Beth has skillfully guided the operational implementations of several new state programs, along with ongoing supervision of operations companywide. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from College of St. Benedict and advanced studies from St. Catherine University, is a certified trainer for person-centered planning, and serves on the advisory and policy boards for Applied Self-Direction.
Beth lives in St. Paul, Minnesota with her husband. They have two adult kids, and she enjoys watching college and professional sports.
Vice President/Chief Strategy Officer Mickey Ogg has held a wide variety of roles since he joined Consumer Direct in 2007. His achievements include successfully shepherding the company through project implementation in several states, leading a companywide rebranding initiative, and improving our compliance achievements, to name just a few.
Mickey has served as Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Development Officer, and now serves as Vice President/CSO. This vast experience at Consumer Direct Care Network, his bachelor’s degree from University of Washington and master’s degree in business administration from University of Montana, and his thorough understanding of the needs of all interested parties—from unions and managed care organizations to people who need our services—contribute to his invaluable expertise. Mickey guides our Business Development team through relationship-focused selling and leads our Government Relations and Labor Relations teams.
Mickey resides in Missoula, Montana, where he and his wife raise their three sons, instilling in them a love of the outdoors.
Chief Financial Officer Misty Hansen’s dedication to directly improving peoples’ lives underpins her work, since 2001, in the healthcare finance industry. Before joining Consumer Direct Care Network, Misty served as the CFO of an integrated academic medical center, leading the organization through significant strategic initiatives, mergers, and acquisitions. She was also the CFO of a large operator of senior living communities.
Misty’s experience spans hospitals and acute care, physician practices, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing, assisted and independent living, residency programs, and insurance plans. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in finance from Saint Mary’s College of California and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Misty’s understanding of the complex components of our healthcare system allows her to develop and execute creative strategies to improve healthcare delivery, with the intention of bringing higher quality care along with a better patient experience at a lower cost.
Misty finds supporting her community particularly rewarding and serves as a board member for several non-profit organizations in Tucson, Arizona.
Chief Administrative Officer Jim McInnis brings a wealth of professional and personal knowledge and experience to Consumer Direct Care Network, strengthened by his willingness and drive to learn, to lead, and to help.
Before coming to Consumer Direct Care Network, Jim developed and led teams who implemented consumer-direction programs in over 25 states, serving over 120,000 consumers and managing a workforce of over 300,000 caregivers and over $3 billion of Managed Care Organization and Medicaid funds. Jim has a bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and a master’s degree in business administration from Clark University. As CAO, Jim oversees Consumer Direct Care Network’s HR, Legal, Tax, and Payroll teams.
Jim is the parent of a person with a disability, bringing his distinct perspective as someone who sees the impact daily of innovative home care.
